The Opening of the Office of the Albanian-German Business Union in Kosova

On this day, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Donika Gërvalla, participated in the inauguration of the Office of the Albanian-German Business Union in Kosova, joined by Deputy Minister Liza Gashi, Prime Minister Albin Kurti, and representatives of numerous Albanian-German businesses.

Minister Gërvalla commended the Business Union on the office’s opening, highlighting its role in fostering economic prosperity and serving as a platform for enhancing ties between Kosova and Germany. She underlined the historical significance of emigration in Kosova’s economic development and state-building, creating vital links between Kosova and host countries.

The Business Union, according to Minister Gërvalla, represents a shared vision for a thriving Albanian community in Germany. More than just an office, it is envisioned as a hub of opportunities, a space for cultivating ideas, forging partnerships, and celebrating successes.

Minister Gërvalla assured attendees of the Republic of Kosova’s unwavering commitment to combating crime and corruption, ensuring a secure environment for investments. She expressed full support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, inviting stakeholders to view it as a partner in this journey towards prosperity and collaboration.

The ceremony signifies a milestone in Albanian-German relations, with the Business Union’s presence reinforcing economic cooperation between the two nations. Minister Gërvalla’s emphasis on the historical role of emigration and the commitment to a safe investment environment underscores the broader context in which this event unfolds, reflecting a concerted effort to strengthen diplomatic and economic bonds on this particular date. The opening of the office symbolizes not only physical space but a symbolic gateway to enhanced opportunities, partnerships, and shared successes between Kosova and Germany.
