On this day in 2012, the environmental NGO Let’s Do It Kosova successfully launched its first campaign, Ta Pastrojmë Kosovën (Let’s Clean Up Kosova). Founded in 2012, the organization has since organized hundreds of actions to clean illegal dumpsites and waste, raising awareness and involving the public in environmental protection activities.

Every year on May 24th, Let’s Do It Kosova organizes large-scale events to encourage the public to participate in cleaning parks, mountains, and illegal landfill sites. Through its ongoing campaign, the organization has brought the issue of environmental pollution and waste management to the forefront of discussions among governmental and non-governmental structures in Kosova.

Let’s Do It Kosova is part of the global movement Let’s Do It World, which is present in 157 countries around the world. The success of the first Ta Pastrojmë Kosovën campaign marked the beginning of a larger environmental initiative that continues to grow and make a difference in Kosova.
